"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in life, in love, in faith, and in purity."
To lead people to Jesus Christ, involve them in caring for one another, and equip them to go into the world to create disciples.

About THE T.I.D.E
The T.I.D.E Youth Ministry is a ministry for 6th-12th grades. T.I.D.E stands for Teens Igniting Discipleship & Evangelism. We strive to stand out in our community by discipling our teens to be proactive in their faith. Our church mission statement is, To lead people to Jesus Christ, involve them in caring for one another, and equip them to go into world and create disciples. T.I.D.E Youth Ministry seeks to help our church fulfill this mission statement by doing three things: dreaming big, daring to be different, and focusing on changing the world! Many youth are hard to reach these days because they are not attracted to church and organized religion. This is very unfortunate, and there are many churches sending wrong messages to young people. The Church should be a life support system for the youth as they make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. Youth aren’t seeking to be a part of a religious institution; they are seeking a relationship with the true and living God! Here at First United Methodist Church of Crestview, we want to ensure that this thirst is continual and is satisfied!
Dream big, dare to be different, and change the world!

T.I.D.E Servant Team
Service project in Baker.
Enjoying fellowship somewhere. The T.I.D.E Servant Team is for youth who are interested in serving Christ through helping with various projects within our church, church membership, community, and world. The T.I.D.E Servant Team participates in outreach projects, such as serving at homeless shelters and soup kitchens, helping with various ministries within the church, doing various work projects for church members or those in our community in need, evangelizing, and serving on missions teams. This is a great opportunity for youth to get community hours for scholarships, do great things that they will remember for a lifetime, and be passionate and active in living out their faith!
