Facility Use Policy
We are glad to be able to offer you use of the facilities at First United Methodist Church for your function. For weddings, please see the Wedding Policy section under Facilities. To help ensure that all groups have a pleasant, safe, and clean meeting place, each group must adhere to the following:
For church-wide activities: If you need special set-up of the furniture please let the church administrator know in advance so arrangements can be made to take care of it.
Groups may not rearrange the furniture to meet their needs, unless they receive prior approval from the Church Administrator. If approval is given, groups must leave things as they found them. A Fellowship Hall diagram can be found on the main Facilities page.
Groups may not remove, rearrange, or add to any of the existing wall hangings, window treatments, or decorations.
Groups may not use thumbtacks, tape, or any other material that will mar or scar the furnishings or the structure.
If using the kitchen, groups must leave the kitchen and restroom in an orderly fashion including:
- All coffee pots, sinks, counters, cabinets and stoves left clean.
- The tea dispensers washed and returned to the drink table.
- The containers that hold the salt, pepper, cream and sugar refilled and put back in the cabinet. The cups and stirrers back put in the cabinet.

- The tables and chairs cleaned, including the serving and drink tables.

Wedding Policy
A message to the Bride and Groom:
Ephesians 5:31
It is the desire of FUMC and its staff that every church wedding be profoundly spiritual in nature. If these procedures and policies are fully understood and followed, your wedding will be a happy and worshipful experience for all concerned.
