There's not a lot known about Anna, but we do know that Anna was widowed after only seven years of marriage. From that time on, she served God faithfully in the temple at Jerusalem. She was there when Jesus was presented to the Temple by Joseph and Mary. At the sight of Jesus, Anna thanked God for allowing her to live to see the baby Jesus, whom she openly pronounced to be the fulfillment of God's Messianic promises. Anna lived her life to serve God, and it is with that same desire to serve God and each other that we started this "Anna's Ministry".
We see Anna's Ministry as being a way for us to keep in touch with each other. By formin partnerships with one another, we can check in with each other daily, help each other out, and remain independent as long as possible. We want to stress that we don't invade anyone's privacy; we just want to be there if we're needed. We have "Partnership Cards", which you can fill out with your name, address, and phone number and exchange with the person with whom you'd like to be a partner. We also maintain a "Master List" so we can keep in touch with you. If you don't have a partner choice, we'll be glad to match people up.
